Drone video shows huge construction works on the estate of PM Orbán’s family
Construction works did not stop on the estate of PM Viktor Orbán’s father in Hatvanpuszta. Győző Orbán Sr. bought the manor in 2011, but later, Lőrinc Mészáros, the wealthiest Hungarian billionaire who made his fortune during the Orbán-governments, rented it to store his machines there.
Átlátszó.hu published a video recently about the construction works on the estate of the prime minister’s father. They did so in 2019 as well, while Ákos Hadházy, an independent member of the Hungaria National Assembly, rented a plane to take a look at the area from the sky, hvg reported.
Afterwards, the MP turned to the Government Office of Fejér County. He asked what Mr Orbán builds in Hatvanpuszta, whether it will be a bunker, a wellness centre, or an underground garage. Finally, they replied that
there will be a grandiose underground garage, and they plan to build a 500 square metre residential building, and an economy building above.
Hvg asked PM Orbán in January what his family builds in Hatvanpuszta, but he only said that it would be a country manor since it has always been one. The video of Átlátszó.hu shows how gigantic the building will be:

The site recalled that the estate in Hatvanpuszta belonged to the former Habsburg palatine of Hungary, Archduke Joseph of Austria. The PM’s father bought the house from Attila Csányi, the son of Sándor Csányi, leader of the OTP Bank, in 2011. On the territory of hundreds of hectares, there is a former castle and a 200-year-old sycamore line of trees.

- Something big is under construction on the secret private estate of Viktor Orbán
Interestingly, the PM asked his father before not to compete for government contracts. Direkt 36 wanted to ask him about his latest business successes, but Mr Orbán said that they should not do that because he would run out of patience and become rude.

Like almost all dictators, Orbán has his megalomaniac side. Could that project also include his mausoleum, perhaps?
@ Mario – did you have Nicholas van Hoogstraten in mind by any chance?
Hehe, precisely that, Paulus… 🙂
Hey you two are married to each other? If not than should be…. ??
Mario and Paulus :
Sunday Times article dated 14th December 2003 and titled :
Profile : Nicholas van Hoogstraten : Attila the landlord is back with a vengeance.
Read it if you did not at the time of it’s publication.
Usage of – Attila, could be additional confirmation of the position together you jointly take and “gamely” express, over the Prime Minister of Hungary – Victor Orban and his Family.
Laszlo Szabo comment :
They may be “joined together in Holy Matrimony” – LGBTQ version.
Then again, they could be one – of the (4) alphabetical letters – their meaning, of the LGBTQ – Family.
Trust the gaiety of life, laughter and joy they share together or as one, radiates to all that life brings them in contact.
